Michael Kass is the founder of the center for story and spirit, a Los Angeles based project that grew out of his passion for helping people and organizations discover and harness the power of their stories to create change. This passion has taken him all over the world and he has been privileged to work with everyone from inmates in California's central valley to Ceos in Istanbul.
Michael's background includes 18 years on staff and in the trenches with social impact orgs across sectors and he spent time as a grant writer, director of development, program designer and evaluator, and financial management consultant. Michael is also an award-winning storyteller and certified breathwork facilitator. He serves as a mentor with the creative visions foundation and on the board of directors of the breath center. He also likes brownies maybe a little too much.
