James Judd

James Judd is an award-winning stand-up storyteller, playwright, teacher, and author. He was the former and first All For One Festival Artist in Residence. His stories can be heard regularly on Snap Judgment or downloaded at www.snapjudgment.org. James is known on NPR as "The Closer," the person who closes the show, and has performed in 25 of their live theater performances across the United States.

James Judd is also a popular guest on TV & Radio, having appeared in morning news segments in Portland, Chicago, Seattle, Toronto, Phoenix, San Francisco, San Jose, and numerous others.

James can coach you or your business associates to give the best presentation of your life. Recent clients include Cartier, Interlochen School for the Arts, The Wealth Council, Clayton City Hall, Las Vegas Library Public Education. He has developed his own curriculum to enable anyone to speak and give presentations with the skills of a professional speaker. James is a former member of The Groundlings in Los Angeles. He was also a member the New Faces at the Hollywood Improv. As a comedian and comedy writer, James worked on many entertainment projects, including television appearances on Star Search and Evening at the Improv. His critically acclaimed, award-winning, one-man, autobiographical play 7 SINS has been produced in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, Regina, Winnipeg, London, Ontario , Hamilton, Toronto, New York (Rochester and Off-Broadway at 59E59th), Concord, Ogonquit, Washington, D.C., Orlando , Cape Cod, Grand Bahama, Roatan (Honduras), the Edinburgh Festival, and Celebrity Cruises.
