Anna Nicholas is a writer, actor, director and mediator. Her career spans 30 years and is comprised of film, television and stage work. As a writer/director her films include: UNIVERS'L, a multi-lingual depiction of the Los Angeles riots of 1992, prize winner at the Mannheim-Heidelberg Film Festival, which also aired on PBS. Nicholas is the winner of the Santa Barbara Screenwriting Competition, the Oregon Screenwriting and Scriptapalooza TV Writing Competitions, and is the recipient of both Walden and Tano Media Writing Fellowships. She is the author of THE MUFFIA, which will be published by Water Street Press in 2012.
