DANNY TIEGER is an author, songwriter, and performer who first gained attention on this site in 2009 with his song “Sunburnt Hand” - an acoustic duet that he sang with Julia Nunes. In the decade since, he has written songs for NASA, CNN’s Parts Unknown, Tribune Media, Sony Music, and countless other places. As of this writing, he has had his music licensed in over two hundred television shows and feature films. In addition, Danny created the wildly popular "Sung History" and "Sung Science" series for DreamworksTV, became a Story Pirate (and wrote for their podcast), and starred on the national tour of "Matilda" as Michael Wormwood. He is the author of two books that help creative kids channel their creative energy into their first songs and films: "I Am Your Songwriting Journal" and "Let's Make a Movie." He lives in Connecticut with his wife and two sons.
