In the 90’s you knew her as “Bethie.” BMG kids’ recording artist garnering numerous awards including Parents’ Choice Gold and Silver. Favorite gig…The White House Easter Concert in ’94. Four children’s albums, one movie “Bethie’s Really Silly Clubhouse”, staff songwriter for Disney Live TV and Sesame Street Live, wrote the music for Knowledge Adventure’s Jump Start Pre-School and Jump Start Toddler…groundbreaking and bestselling educational software for young children. Beth is back to her folk roots, having released ‘Let Me In’ in 2008, in the singer/songwriter genre, and then her 6th album, “Blackbird”, in 2014. She has been busy performing in San Francisco, her new hometown, and beyond! She also does shows for Bread and Roses, the organization that brings music to people who can’t get out to hear it. Beth Marlin’s career began in Columbia, Missouri in the late 70s when A&M producer, David Anderle saw her perform in a small club and encouraged her to come to L.A. to make a demo. Speed bumps were the band she formed, which included such illustrious musicians as Steve Bartek (Mystic Knights Of The Oingo Boingo), George Bunnell (original member of Strawberry Alarm Clock), and James Harrah (Madonna world tour, currently tours with Huey Lewis).
